Another father we celebrated is a walking miracle who has broken the generational curse and is guaranteeing that his children will never be able to relate to the painful past he was forced to endure. His children will never know abuse or abandonment! He has become a loving and faithful father, a devoted husband, a committed provider. He is leading his children by example and training them up in the ways of the Lord. He loves kids and ministers to children of Ripley County each week whose present resembles his past. His zest for life is both contagious and inspiring! We are so proud of the father he has become. Congratulations Robbie MacMurray! Robbie MacMurray

This father we have chosen to honor is truly a masterpiece of God’s grace. Once separated from his sons due to bad choices and unfortunate circumstances, He has now been redeemed by the blood, filled with the Spirit, reunited with his boys and has powerful walk with God. He is a man after God’s own heart and his passion for people is both incredible and convicting. He is a blessing to everyone he finds out is in need and gives generously to his own hurt. He would give the... shirt off his back and go without so others wouldn’t have to. He has the faith of Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego and an excellent spirit like Daniel. He evangelizes everybody he comes in contact with and has created a culture of prayer at the place of business he manages. He can’t sing, but nobody can out worship him. His boys are becoming just like him. And you will find all of them serving continually behind the scenes, setting up, and tearing down after everyone else has vacated the premises. Another father we chose to recognize is a first generation apostolic that has changed the trajectory of every future generation that comes after him. Psalms 145:4 reads, One generation shall praise thy works to another, and shall declare thy mighty acts. That scripture has become his legacy. He is anointed and operates in the gift of faith. His sensitivity to the Spirit is a blessing to our congregation. He can’t make an announcement to save his life , but nobody flows any more proficiently in the Spirit than he. He loves God with all his heart, soul mind and strength and he is diligently teaching the commandments of God to his children. He models and teaches them continually at home and abroad. Today we honored a dad who has modeled to all that will pay attention the path to success. He is an entrepreneur that has built a successful business from the ground up. He has always put God first in his finances even when he was under spiritual and financial attack and now God is blessing everything he touches. His discipline and determination have been the fuel that has pushed him past every frustration, setback and difficulty he has faced. There is nothing he’s afraid ...to tackle or attempt and is so gifted he becomes excellent at everything he decides to set his mind to do. He never gives up or quits! His testimony is a powerful witness to God’s favor, grace and delivering power. God brought him out of addiction and when he stumbled, he showed us how to get back up again! He loves his family fiercely and would face off against legions to protect and defend them from any threat or attack. He respects his elders and is constantly but quietly looking out for their well-being. He makes himself vulnerable each week as he ministers in Celebrate Recovery and has transformed the weapon that was formed against him into a sword that sets others free. FATHER OF THE FAITH Every year our highest honor goes to a father who embodies the virtues and character that every young man should model their life after. We call it the Father of the Faith. He must be a man of humility and integrity. He is a man of conviction but also great compassion. He is strong yet at the same time gentle. He must be consistent in his walk with God. A man who has endured hardness and temptation. A man that doesn’t entangle himself with the affai...rs of this life; But instead chooses to please the one who has chosen him to be a soldier. A man who has weathered the storm, conquered his own demons and has a pure heart! A man that doesn’t lift his soul to vanity or swear deceitfully. A man who has learned how to lift up holy hands without wrath or doubting. A man who is full of faith and has demonstrated to the rest of us what it means to be faithful. Elmer, we give honor to your father, Elmer Littrell, Sr., who has played such an important role in shaping you into the man you are today, as well as your mother Claudetta, who always was and would be so proud of you on this day! She will have no greater joy than to know her children have continued walking in the truth. We celebrate the fact that all of your children are actively involved in ministry and serving the Lord! We will include the folowing 10 most popular items on our menu: Turkey, Dressing, Gravy, Chicken and Dumplings, Fried Okra, Fried Potato's, Green Beans, White Beans, Slaw and Hillbilly Cheesecake. ... Dinners will be available for take out in individual containers and can be picked up on Friday, December 4, between 4:30pm and 7:30pm. No substitiutions will be able to be accomodated.

As promised, Grandma’s Country Store’s Seasoned Bakers will be taking orders on our most popular items. The dates that these are available are December 4-5 and December 18-19. We will be adding two new items: Pecan Pie and Pumpkin Pie. Our bakers would love to help you out, take away some of that holiday stress, and help spread some Christmas cheer along the way!
