Chamber Shop Local Christmas Possibilities Shop Local is not merely a one weekend a year mantra, it is a lifeline for small communities and small businesses. ...I can’t think of a more trying year to stress the importance of looking out for our local businesses. I know everyone is aware how most local money spent stays local. However, shopping local in Stockton is also a great opportunity to also find THE gift for that person in your life who seemingly has everything. Before I begin, let me apologize if I leave off any business, but I have been in contact with a few who have sent us ideas or Christmas specials they are running. You can’t get a figure like mine without eating. It’s all good, but we have the best Mexican food right here at Enrique’s. Orleans Trail Restaurant provides a great atmosphere and a little bit of a getaway as well as great food. You need to check out their winter hours and specials as Zane and Marissa are always changing things up for the better, especially when Marissa makes the changes. Sorry Zane, I couldn’t resist. If you haven’t dropped in yet, Piette’s would make another great stop for that special lady, hus-band and family or whoever’s turn it is to cook or do the dishes some night. Great food, great people and great atmosphere. Having trouble choosing, just go see them all. They are great Chamber and community contributors. Check out the Holiday specials at Ken’s Café, Country Corner Café, Sonic and Subway while you are out as well. The Squeeze Inn on RB Road is a terrific place to visit.
