Webster Groves Parks Recreation

The Rec Complex, including Fitness Center and Ice Arena, will be closed Tuesday, January 12, from 9 am until approximately 3 pm. Missouri American Water has given notice that they will be shutting off the water on Tuesday, January 12, for the water main replacement work being done on Glendale Avenue. Due to this outage, the Rec Complex will have no restrooms available nor means to adequately sanitize the facility. Therefore, the Rec Complex will be closed the duration. We will update Facebook and remove complex signage when the water is turned back on and the facility can reopen. Sorry for the inconvenience.

How awesome is this? Webster Waves swimmer June Johnson was nostalgic and said she wanted to remember the Webster Waves, so she made up FAKE races and wrote them on her arm as if she was in a meet! <3 our Waves family! Just five short months, June...five short months.

A few eroded trail sections in the Blackburn Park bird sanctuary will be closed off with split-rail within the next week. Alternative trails will allow visitors better and safer access to this area of the park. We greatly appreciate the citizens avoiding these ecological restoration areas by utilizing the new alternate trails. Volunteers will replant the eroded areas on Make a Difference Day, October 24. Thank you for your understanding.
