With the reduced capacity mandates, it is advisable to register for public sessions and Cosmic Skates in advance. Go to www.webstergroves.org/parksandreconline, set up an account, go to "catalog", "Ice Arena" to find each day's sessions.

In case you haven't yet heard, the rink was able to take advantage of the County Executive's order to get a head-start on the annual 5-week maintenance closure so as to minimize the shut-down period. It is anticipated that the rink will re-open July 6 and it won't shut down July 19 - August 15 as originally scheduled. Yay! We can't wait to see you back!

At this time, the Recreation Complex is closed through April 22 per executive order. In addition, all city playgrounds and restrooms are closed for public use, though the parks are open to the public. Stay healthy out there. We'll see you when this is all over!

Congratulations to our St. Louis Blues! Stanley Cup Champions!!! And to think, every one of those players got their start at a rink just like Webster's! Learn-to-skate starts up again in September (takes off through the summer for hockey camps and rink maintenance.)

The Ice Arena will close after today's 4-5:30 p.m. public session due to the snow. All Mid-States and Rockets games have been canceled for this evening by those organizations. Enjoy the snow and hey! Be careful out there!
