Webster County Historical Society

Good News! The Webster County Historical Museum and Annex will reopen a week from today, Tuesday, 16 June, 1-4 PM. For now, volunteers will be at the Museum and Annex on Tuesday and Friday afternoons each week, 1-4 PM. Other open days will gradually be added. So, next week--Tuesday, June 16th and Friday, June 19th--the Museum and Annex will be open 1-4 PM. Hope to see you soon!

Are any of you familiar with Webster County's Callaway Cabin? This 1850s cabin was moved from its original spot (shown in the photo) to Hidden Waters Nature Par...k in Marshfield several years ago. It's a great example of old-time Ozarks living. Fun fact: The family who built the cabin had around 13 kids! See more

The April 28 meeting of the Webster County Historical Society is cancelled due to the stay-at-home order by Governor Parson. We hope to be able to see you in May!
