In honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, WCA customer service rep., Julie (left), shared how breast cancer has impacted her. Her mom (center, standing) and aunt are survivors. Now, Julie's fiancé, Nick, who is also part of the WCA team, can be spotted driving the pink WCA truck in honor of Julie's family.

Time to break out the rake, it is season. Some yard waste reminders: Yard waste includes grass, leaves, and branches. Please do not dispose of flower pots, yard decorations, dirt or fencing with your yard waste! Please do not put grass or leaves in your trash cart.

We know many stores are not accepting reusable bags right now due to COVID-19 concerns, but please remember to dispose of plastic bags in the trash. Plastic bags are not recyclable. Thank you for helping us keep our recycling stream clean!

Look beyond the kitchen for recyclables Did you know most makeup packaging can be recycled? Just be sure to check what type of plastic your specific product is and wipe leftover makeup out first.

Leaf season is around the corner! Please remember that yard waste includes grass, leaves and small branches. Please do not dispose of flower pots, yard decorations, dirt or wood fencing with your yard waste.

Time to close up the pool? Remember, do not dispose of pool chemicals in your trash, as they can cause injury to our team and truck/landfill fires. Instead, you can take leftover chemicals to a Household Hazardous Waste center. Thank you for keeping our team safe!
