This is how we #passthehandle The first Pass the Handle - Discover Water Sports Day took place on lakes worldwide on July 26, 2014. The Pass the Handle project is an incredible awareness-driven concept drawn up by legendary wakeboarders Shaun Murray and Zane Schwenk, encompassing any towed-water-sports enthusiast to get out on the water and extend their passionate arm to people in need of an awesome activity. The concept is simple: find a buddy who doesn't already take adva...ntage of the amazing sports included under the towed-water-sports umbrella and get them on the water. Take them out, teach them how to ride, and introduce them to the same fun lifestyle of being on the water that we enjoy. Our goal is to truly engage those already involved to "share the stoke" and teach as many people as they can to ride. While #PassTheHandle is just a day for most of us, it's the reason that Williams Ski and Sports has been here for over 37 years! Dave Williams started this business because of his passion. At the time, he was a sales rep for Connelly Skis and sold his beloved 1970 Z28 Camaro in perfect condition to buy his first shipment of waterski inventory. He loved to waterski, trick, and barefoot, but most of all sharing that with his family. He lived a life of pass the handle and I was lucky enough to be one of many recipients of that! Watersports have not only been a passion in our family but have truly become our career and the life that we get to live every day. We are here to help get you and your family out on the water, whatever your needs are!
