[SCHEDULE UPDATE] Watson Concrete Inc., contractor for Stephens College, rescheduled the plans to remove and replace a drive approach for Windsor Auditorium at ...1405 E. Broadway beginning Monday, July 6, at 7 a.m. This will result in the closure of a portion of the north sidewalk along East Broadway between College Avenue and Ripley Street. The work associated with the closure is scheduled to be completed by Friday, July 10, at 5 p.m., weather permitting. Motorists, pedestrians and nonmotorized transportation users are urged to exercise extreme caution when in the work zone. Pedestrians should use the sidewalk on the south side of East Broadway.

Sidewalk closure scheduled on East Walnut, North Seventh Street, Feb. 24 - March 4 Beginning Monday, Feb. 24, at 7 a.m., Watson Concrete Inc., contractor for ...City of Columbia Building Maintenance, plans to begin making repairs to the sidewalk of the Police Station at 600 E. Walnut St. This will result in a closure of the sidewalk along East Walnut Street and North Seventh Street, adjacent to 600 E. Walnut St. The work associated with the closure will be completed by Wednesday, March 4, at 5 p.m. Pedestrians should only use the sidewalk on the opposite side of the street as directed by signage. While repairs are being made to the sidewalk, the entrance to the Columbia Police Department, located at 600 E. Walnut St, will still be accessible to the public. Motorists and nonmotorized transportation users are urged to exercise extreme caution when in the work zone.
