For a team to win the game, they have to follow the rules. If they don’t, they get fouls called on them - my pet peeve when the Chiefs get fouls called on them!! The same for our spiritual journey - if we want to win the race and receive the reward (1 Corinthians 9:24-25), we need to follow the rules.
