ArtsKC has collaborated with other local arts organizations to provide rocket relief funds. $120,000 are now available for KC area artist...s in need of emergency aid due to COVID-19. UPDATE: Between a rear-ending, a mechanical malfunction, and a staffing emergency, 4 of our food trucks are unable to come this evening. We only have dessert food trucks, so you may want to eat dinner beforehand!

Tonight’s the night! Here’s our line-up of local artists for this evening: StoneLion Puppet Theatre Trio Forte Kristin Wicklund... Beth Byrd-Lonski Broderick Jones Quixotic Rhythmic Flames Zanzibar Drum Tribe Calvin Arsenia Pre-show at 5:30pm Lighting Ceremony at 7pm REMINDERS: - We are at Theis Park this year instead of the Plaza! - ADA parking will be at the Kauffman Memorial Gardens parking lot - Everyone else can park at the Kauffman Foundation parking lot (free), the UMKC Cherry St. Garage (free), or the Nelson-Atkins parking garage ($10) - Bring a blanket/tarp or lawn chair! Seating will only be available for those who are physically impaired - The event will end at 10pm, so please start to make your way off the premises at that point - We will have food trucks parked along Oak St, so come hungry! - We rely heavily on donations for this event and will have donation jars available at the WaterFire KC info tent to keep our fires burning for next year - HAVE FUN!

Had a successful load-in today! Thanks, KCMO Parks and Rec and our amazing WaterFire KC Navy! We hope you'll join us tomorrow evening at Frank A. Theis Park to behold our braziers in all their glory as we light up Brush Creek and party into the night (until 10, that is) We will kick off our Pre-Show at 5:30pm with the Lighting Ceremony commencing at 7pm!
