Every April at our academy we run a seminar to raise awareness and charity which we donate to women’s shelter. On that day we announced our women’s self defense program. I faced SO many criticism from so called other martial artist and colleges of mine that this won’t work and I’m just doing this for the money... Three years lat...er the program is successful and empowering the women of our community and the program has succeeded to graduate so many women to join the coed program and have ranked up in our Krav Maga system. I am talking about women that came from a severe background of sexual assault and physical violence... now they are lionesses of @warriorsacademykc . I’ve built this program with my black rank (Megan) in dedication to my grandmother (my Wonder Woman ) who is a survivor of physical abuse and sexual assault. It is to honor her name I will not stop doing this and grow an army of lionesses in this community of ours. P.S. I got a little bit Irritated in our interview because all I keep getting asked about what woman should do what woman should do... so I simply stated it is THE MEN of this country Responsibility and social awareness to learn the boundaries and how to respect a woman.
