Have to send some kudos out to the Warrenton License Bureau this week. I called to see what their Covid safety precautions are, due to being high risk for the v...irus and needing to come in to renew my driver’s license. They called back within 24 hours, explained everything & mentioned that if I could come right over (Wednesday), there was no crowd at the moment. They got me in within 10 minutes, there was a greeter at the door that gave me hand sanitizer, pulled a number for me, had me wait outside & came to get me when they were ready. Everything was sanitized between customers, my new license was squared away within 15 minutes & I left again with my temporary in hand. I’ve seen lots of discussion about their difficulties lately, so I wanted to post something positive, too. See more

Governor Parson Announces $50 Million in New Grant Programs for Missouri Businesses $30 Million Small Business Grant Program The Small Business Grant Program was developed to provide relief to small businesses and family-owned farms for reimbursement of business interruption costs due to the COVID-19 crisis. This program is available to for-profit businesses and family-owned farms that employ 50 or fewer employees. Funds can be used to cover facility redesign and labor, air... filtration systems, e-commerce website design, worker salaries during closure or reduced hours, and necessary costs to make the business more resilient as a result of COVID-19, among others. $20 Million PPE Retooling Grant Program The PPE Production Grant Program is designed to increase production of personal protective equipment (PPE) needed to help contain the spread of COVID-19. The new program will help companies produce PPE in Missouri as part of the state’s Show Me Strong Recovery Plan. This program assists manufacturers by awarding grant funds to reimburse companies facing high PPE production costs. Eligible uses for awarded funds under the PPE Production Grant Program include purchasing equipment and retooling, upgrading, or expanding facilities to increase PPE production. As concerns with COVID-19/Corona Virus continue, we want to stress that taking care of our customers and staff is of the utmost importance to us. The Warrenton ...License Office will reopen on a modified schedule to serve our community while implementing the following procedures to comply with the guidance of the Center for Disease Control (CDC) and the State: Only 1 customer per transaction will be allowed entrance into the License Office. At this time, we have only one clerk so only one person will be permitted in the License Office at any given time. Countertops and pens will be disinfected in between each customer. We will continue to monitor conditions and will assess our response and operations daily. We remain committed to controlling what we can to best serve our customers and community. We ask that if you are feeling ill or have a fever to please not come to the office. There will be no new or renewed Driver's Licenses available to process at this time. We will be open Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday from 10:00 - 4:00 and Thursday from 10:00 - 3:00 pm. We will be closed for lunch daily from 12:30 - 1:00.
