Shop with a Cop was a success! Thank you to all the officers from Knob Noster PD, Holden PD, UCM DPS, Conservation Department, Fire Investigations, Johnson County Sheriff's Department, and Missouri Highway Patrol for volunteering with us. And thank you to all the volunteers from Central Dispatch, spouses and other family members, our front office staff, and to our retired officers for coming back to help out...seeing the kiddos having a good time each year makes all the organizing worth it! Ask any officer who participates...we get as much out of it as the kids do.

Today we received a call from Harmony Gardens & The Arbors - Assisted Living & Memory Care by Americare about a #jackwagon mucking up their Christmas celebration. Well, of course we brought out the big guns and had Officer Polly and Officer Fischer apprehend him. He kept uttering something about Grinchmas....

Good Afternoon friends, we need your help! This FRIDAY from 4-6pm at Walmart Warrensburg is the Salvation Army Bell Ringing Throw Down between us and the #hosedraggers (Warrensburg Fire Department) next door. This will be our fourth year raising money for Salvation Army through their Red Kettle drives they have each year. If you want to help us raise money for our community and see some good natured shenanigans between us and our fire fighter brothers and sisters, stop by on Friday (and help us win)!!! Oh, and for what it's worth, the PD is 2-1 and we firmly believe that they cheated two years ago... #wearenotbitter

Wishing Ms. Pearl Bodenhamer a happy 105th Birthday! In case you don’t want to do the math, she was born in 1915, 3 years BEFORE the last pandemic. Today Show, how about a Smucker's jar for her?

Dear people who love Christmas (a little too much), It's a little known fact that if you watch Hallmark Channel's countdown to Christmas, purchase Christmas related items from the stores who put out decorations in SEPTEMBER, or put up your Christmas decorations before Thanksgiving...you are the reason it may snow tomorrow. Stop it. Give the other holidays a chance. Respectfully,... The Facebook Admin who hates the cold **On a very important side note, the roads may be slick first thing in the morning, and since this is your first trek in the snow in a few months, please be careful. Leave a little early to allot extra time to get to your destination safely...remember, this isn't Mario Kart, you don't get extra lives.**

Come out to Warrensburg Main Street Inc. Haunted Historic Walk and see Chief Rich Lockhart as the outlaw Billy Hamilton. Billy and Charlie Hamilton murdered Carl Steidle March 31, 1884. You’ll have to hear the rest when the walk starts at 5pm at the Johnson County Courthouse, on Holden.
