Morning two of the Ozarks Fall Farmfest. Come see us over at booth 143, we're sharing a booth with Trans Ova Genetics. If you miss us there, we're probably out in the cattle barns!
We were happy to welcome the Southwest Missouri Cattlemen's Association farm tour last weekend. Helping to educate farmers on reproduction technologies and how it can benefit them as producers is very important to us. Thank you to all of those who came out to see us!
We've had a great time at the American/Canadian Embryo Transfer Association meeting, but we're excited to be coming back to Missouri tomorrow. We spent a lot of time attending seminars and networking with other Certified Embryologists. We look forward to implementing new techniques and practices to help benefit you and your cattle operations.
We're looking forward to hosting Southwest Missouri's Cattlemen next weekend. The tour is open to everyone, so make time to come see some local farms. We will be showing off our facilities and taking time to answer any questions you may have about Embryo Transfer!
We've been working to increase the capacity and quality of our recip facilities this summer. The extra pens will give us room to house not only our own recips, but yours. Let us manage your ET females for you, to give you more time to focus on the rest of your herd! We are also open to taking on small groups for AI.
Spring breeding is well behind us now and we are very happy with how it turned out. We had a solid 67% overall pregnancy rate on our recips, with 10 of the pregnancies originating from 6 embryos that we split! That puts us at 83% on the 12 half embryos, or 167% on the original 6 embryos!!
The sun is shining, grass is growing, and spring breeding season is here! Stop by or give us a call and ask about our recips we have available.
We would like to give a big thank you to Groves View Dairy for supporting the 4H Junior Dairy Judging team by purchasing our flush package at the Missouri Holstein Association Convention Sale Friday night!
Think it's cold out? These calves are sitting at -321F! This batch of 50+ embryos was a good way to finish a great year. A huge thanks to all those who made it possible.
Do you ever wonder what you can do to help your embryo recovery and pregnancy rates? This site has some great suggestions that we commonly implement at our facility. http://etschool.com/faq.asp
With a great turnout and beautiful weather, we could not have asked for a better day for our open house. We'd like to send out a big thank you to all those who showed up, and everyone who helped make this event a success. If you didn't have a chance to come out and see us, give us a call, and we would be happy to make time to visit with you.
Don't forget, this Thursday from 1:00 to 6:00 we'll be having our open house! Come see what we've been working on and how we can help you better your herd. Transova Genetics will be presenting at 1:30 and 5:00, and we'll be serving supper from 4:00 to 6:00.
You're invited! We are hosting an open house at our new facility. On November 16th from 1 - 6pm, come take a tour, meet our staff, and enjoy a free meal. Trans Ova Genetics will also be here to give presentations regarding IVF services at our facility!
