Waldo Heights Donations Update Donations are still being collected for those effected by the Waldo Heights fire. It is encouraged that items be taken directly to St.Elizabeth Church... they have listed drop-off times as well as volunteer opportunities on their Facebook page. Waldo Pizza will still be a drop-off location, please see donation details below. Ideal drop-off times:... Thursday 11-2 Friday 5-9 Saturday 11-1, 5-9 Items needed: Kitchen cookware Blankets/ sheets/ bedding Toiletries Please help however you can and be on the look-out for more information as it becomes available.

Waldo Pizza is calling on its community to help those impacted by the tragic Waldo Heights fire. Our neighbors have suffered a great loss, during an already difficult time of year, and we want to help however we can. Donations of gently used household items and unused toiletry items can be dropped off at Waldo Pizza during our normal business hours. THANK YOU to our customers and community, for the outpouring of support we have received in the last six months. Much like you, we have had to reimagine how we operate, both as a restaurant and as the family we have come to know. Through this tough transition, safety for our employees and customers has remained our top priority. We have adjusted how we serve our product. We have heightened our safety precautions and sanitation standards. We are doing all that we can, so we ca...n keep doing what we love, serving pizza. DINING ROOM UPDATE We have polished our process, re-trained our staff, and are ready to open our doors again. We will be offering seating in our Tap Room dining room only, starting this Friday, September 18th. Please keep reading for more information on how you can join us again, and the precautions we have taken to welcome you back. HOURS for DINING-IN (Starting Friday, September 18th) Monday - Thursday 4:00 pm - 9:00 pm Friday - 4:00 pm - 10:00 pm Saturday - 11:00 am - 10:00 pm Sunday - 11:00 am - 9:00 pm GIVE US A CALL (816-363-5242) to make a reservation, as they are highly recommended due to limited seating. SAFETY In order to ensure safety we are strictly following the KCMO Health Department requirements, and abiding by city mandated ordinances. In addition, we -Will require face masks anytime guests are not actively drinking and eating while seated at a table -Will have social distance guidelines in place -Will block time in between seating guests, to allow for full sanitization of tables, chairs, menus, etc. -Have followed capacity seating requirements -Have installed an air purifying system -Have set-up multiple hand sanitizing stations -Have trained staff on best practice procedures, and continue take employee’s temperatures at the start of each shift -Will not be offering the pizza buffet at this time -Will still offer the salad bar, but salads will be made by staff -Will not be accommodating large parties (party size must fit at a single table, our large table fits 8-10 people) -Will not have seating at the bar, at this time TRYING TIMES These have been trying times and understanding how to best serve our community and our Waldo Pizza family has been a challenge. All that being said, we do look forward to serving our customers in the dining room again.
