June is National Dairy Month. Swing by Nettie Marie`s Creamery and treat yourself to a tasty treat. The creamery’s homemade ice cream is made with milk from our dairy. Did you know? It takes 12 pounds of whole milk to make one gallon of ice cream.... #cofodairy #thekeetercenter #farmtotable #nationaldairymonth

Tonight, at the Missouri Heifer Tag Sale, we have consigned a Holstein fall heifer. C-OF-O MOGUL ELIZABETH is one of the easiest calves we have ever broke to lead. The Mogul and Diamondback daughters are making some of the best cows in our herd. Bidding starts at 8:30pm. In April, the students have learned a lot about the registered dairy business. By attending the Oklahoma State sale, students gained knowledge about the inner workings of a registered sale. Another opportunity the students have had this semester was expanding their knowledge on clipping and show preparation. The students also helped with Delilah's professional picture that will be used in catalogs to sell her offspring in the future. Stay tuned for the finished product! #cofodairy #pictureday

Chopping silage was a success!!! The students had the opportunity to learn about silage production this week. They got to see the differences in no-tilling wheat and interseeding cereal rye into orchard grass. Thanks to all the people who made this happen. #cofodairy #cofoagronomy #cofoagdept

It's award season! At the Missouri State Holstein Convention, we took home the Reserve All-Missouri titles for the Junior 3-year-old and Senior 3-year-old. In the 3-year Futurity class, we received Champion (C-OF-O Defiant Sunny), 3rd Place ( C-OF-O Beemer Ashanti-ET), and 1st place Production (C-OF-O Mogul Delilah Jeff).... We appreciate the opportunity to showcase our impressive herd and the hard work of our students. Great job! #missouristateholsteinconvention #cofodairy #hardworku See more

Corn silage was a success! Now the agronomy crew is working hard planting wheat for silage. Cereal rye and annual rye grass are also being planted for grazing. #cofoagronomy #hardworku
