This Saturday, September 21 kicks off the Fall Season with our juried theme show of Space. Ruth Penaherrera-Norton will serve as juror. Please have your tags and registration papers completed when you arrive with your entries at 9:30 am and take them to the 5th floor. If you currently have work hanging on the 4th or 5th floors, you will need to remove them. The current show in the Fuldner Lounge will remain on display through January. Ruth should arrive by 10 am. If you h...ave a work of art in progress, bring it for a critique session while the group is waiting for the juror to complete her work and the show tags are being printed. Our next meeting and reception for the shows will be October 19th. The next juried theme show for the 5th floor will be Comfort. That show will be judged and hung on November 9. We will also be hanging the student show on the 4th floor the same day. The reception for those shows will take place at 11 am on November 16. The student show on the 4th floor will come down following the reception, and we will hang a non-juried show on the 4th floor the same day that will remain on display until our meeting day in January. Congratulations Suzi Agee for winning the $50 People’s Choice Award at our Brentwood Library show during the month of August. Deby will not be present at our meeting on Saturday, but our very capable and lovely Vice-president, Martha Vicente, will oversee the activities. See more
