Vista Baptist Church

Good evening Vista Baptist Church family and friends, As many of you know, I, your pastor, have been quarantined. My family and I are doing well. We show no symptoms yet. Please pray that it continues to be so. All of that said, I have some news regarding our gatherings and ministries. Today a church member tested positive for COVID-19. They were in Sunday School and at play practice. Those who were near this person have already been notified. ... With both this positive case in our church family and the rising cases in our area, the decons and I have decided to cancel all meetings where social distancing is difficult due to space. Listed below are the canceled meetings and events. 1. Team Kid 2. Youth 3. Sunday School 4. The Christmas dinner on December 6th 5. The Christmas play on December 13 6. The Team Kid Christmas program on December 20 Listed below are the meetings that will continue. 1. Wednesday prayer meeting 2. Sunday morning worship 3. Sunday evening hymn sing and service When you attend these meetings, please observe social distancing and other safety measures. If you are high risk or the caregiver of someone who is high risk, please come at your own discretion. If you are not coming for the above reason, then please let me know.
