The Blue Star Memorial Garden team whipped out an awesome job mulching the flower beds and cleaning the brick walkway today. Hats off to the team for their hard work and dedication.

The VFW will be open on May 23rd, 24th and 25th regular hours. We are asking customers to spend most of their time outside to limit the number of people inside at one time. There will be guidelines posted on the door that will need to be followed in order for the VFW to remain open. Hope to see you all soon

Department of Missouri VFW Commander Troy Williams has put out a call for masks to be used by the Service Officers in our state once they open to serve the Vete...rans. Since their offices are small and the social distancing would be hard to do, he is asking for masks for the Service Officers and the Veterans they serve. He prefers they be the ones with the ties and made with 100% cotton . If you or the members of your Auxiliary can make masks for the Service Officers, please do so. You can send them to Department VFW Headquarters at: VFW Department of Missouri Headquarters PO Box 26 Jefferson City, MO 65102 We can make a difference by "Covering our Veterans with Love" while protecting them from this virus. Anything you can do to help will be greatly appreciated.
