All in the Dexter 2659 Auxiliary, there is a meeting on 06/21/21 at 7 pm. The Auxiliary Department Chief of Staff will be in attendance to conduct elections if no one shows up I can say I tried to save the Dexter Auxiliary. If elections are not done the Auxiliary will be disbanded. Letters were mailed out to addresses on file. I would really be disappointed if we loose our Auxiliary as the VFW does not exist without you. Sincerely your post commander Rob Myers. I hope you will come save our auxiliary.

At the recent ZOOM meeting of the C of A, Department stated that they would like to use $100,000 of a recent grant to pay 1/2 of life membership cost for those apply from 1 May 2021. This would last until the money ran out. The council approved it and anyone who qualifies their quartermasters will need to let Department Quartermaster know. Get your Life Membership Half Off !! Get in touch with us and take advantage ASAP!!!

Thank you City of Dexter for allowing our annual Poppy Day fund raiser. And a huge Shout out to THOSE whom donated their time this Holiday weekend and Especially to those who donated it was a huge success!!!!

Folks as COVID has hit our establishments hard this year and as businesses spend thousands of dollars for entertainment and other cost such as insurance, electricity, gas, stock and employees. It is not a easy decision to close due to ice covered roads and walkways. These businesses have made a choice due to safety and liability concerns. Please reframe from bashing a business as such statements is this place even open anymore, as it does more harm than good. Support your small bar establishments as we took your safety over making a dollar and prevented a accident in waiting. Thank you for your support and understanding.
