Congratulations, Mrs. Manuel's and Mrs. Hope's class! You have worked so hard for so long to put on this show. I cannot wait for everyone to enjoy it. A note on... how our 4th grade musical is put together. Students are given the opportunity to sign up for spoken lines, solos, and small ensembles with no auditions. They can sign up for more than one type of special part, but they are only guaranteed their first choice. Since each home room recorded their own musical, this year, students were able to take on more parts. In fact, so many students wanted to take on the challenge and responsibility of singing and speaking, that I had to find extra places in the songs that I could turn into solos and small ensembles. What a wonderful problem to have! I am very proud of all the hard work these musicians have done. Another note: When students were given their parts, Mrs. Hope's class was meeting for specials as a separate class. But by the time we were ready to record the performance, Mrs. Hope's students had joined the other four classes. Rather than reassign the parts that consequently overlapped, we merged them as best we could, or simply recorded lines and songs twice to give everyone their chance to shine. Without further ado, we present to you "A World of Possibilities."
