Beginning in the month of January, West Church St. in the 200 block (see picture) will be closed with limited lane closures along 3rd St. / HWY 14 for construct...ion crews to repair and replace the sanitary sewer main, which will require crews to connect to the existing sewer main located out on 3rd St. / HWY 14. This is one one of the most complex portions of the downtown project. The northwest corner of the square serves as the primary outlet for the square's gravity sanitary sewer. Our construction crews will be spending a considerable amount of time on West Church Street in the 200 block. Crews are hoping to be done with this portion of the downtown revitalization project by the end of January.
