Van’s Delivery Pharmacy is currently seeking a qualified Pharmacy Technician at the South County location in St. Louis, MO. Full-time and part-time positions are available with competitive pay. Our one-of-a-kind pharmacy offers a uniquely positive experience for both our patients and our staff. Business Hours: 9 AM - 6 PM Monday through Friday 9 AM - 4 PM Saturdays Closed on Sundays. Optimal candidates for the Pharmacy Technician role are able to work independently, prioritize tasks, and stay organized in a fast-paced, high volume, retail pharmacy setting. Responsibilities of the Pharmacy Technician include: Prepare and dispense medications under supervision of Missouri-Licensed Pharmacist(s) Proficiency in the utilization of all pharmacy systems (ie Pharmacy software, workflow procedures, rules & regulations, etc.) Receive and interpret prescription orders in the routine course of pharmacy practice Communicate with Healthcare Providers, Patients, and Caregivers in the provision of pharmacy services Understand and follow all ethical, legal, and regulatory principles governing the provision of pharmacy services. Requirements for the Pharmacy Technician include: (1) Pharmacy Technician License with Missouri Board of Pharmacy, license active and in good standing (2) Work experience as a Pharmacy Technician in a Retail Pharmacy setting (3) High School Diploma or equivalent Additional Requirements: Must be able to pass background check and drug screening *NO felony convictions* Must be a U.S. citizen or show proof of citizenship or legal residency in the United States Must be able to read and communicate in English Understand how to perform basic mathematical calculations Be able to understand and meet all safety standards Be able to meet all regular hours and overtime hours that are required by the facility Van’s Delivery Pharmacy is committed to providing equal opportunity in employment to all employees and applicants for employment.
