Two great causes (FBC Slidell, Disaster Relief Fund and Righteous Rides) and lots of chilly December, in the south, fun!

What a fun filled, cold for the south, Golf Tournament! The Slidell, Louisiana MSY Righteous Rides Hub team signed up to be an Event Sponsor for the Annual Christmas Classic - 4 person scramble which benefited FIrst Baptist Church Slidell Missions - ongoing hurricane assistance to Louisiana Residents! As an event sponsor we've donated $500 for disaster relief and had a pop-up tent at one of the holes. It was a lot of fun serving pastalya, rolls, water, coffee, and hot chocolate to golfers as they approached the 10th hole! Many of those serving and participating in the event learned for the first time about Righteous Rides...not a motorcycle group but a ministry caring for missionaries as we provide vans for them when they are in the U.S. on Home Assignment or furlough or even in a Covid emergency!

A couple of weeks ago, Mark got to spend some time with Harold Hendrick down at Bott Radio. Portions of their conversation will be aired on Thursday, Dec 3rd at 2:00 on all three BOTT stations in the St. Louis area. (91.5 FM, 85.9 FM and 1320 AM). Listen in if you have a few minutes in your day.

Throw Back Thursday. This Thursday, we are thinking back over the hundreds and hundreds of vans our volunteers have cleaned over the years. We want every van to go out looking like new... no matter how many miles they have on them. We are so thankful for the 10s of thousands of hours our team has put into cleaning the fleet so the missionaries are delivered a van in "a manner worthy of God". And... that isn't always the easiest job.
