We just had additional dedicated power circuits ran in the lab. We will be able to power 220v networking equipment. These items would be blade servers, storage controllers, and large enterprise network switches. We utilized SJ cord to bring additional circuits into our network racks.... We are getting additional gear from our vendors and distribution channel's to build out this room further. We will be able to prebuild systems and configurations here. Test security scenarios, and even try to break things. We will be able to pull in configurations from customer's in a matter of minutes and try to replicate issues they may be experiencing in their environment. We love our customers. We love technology. Is your server locked down? We recommend using department folders and security groups for accessing those folders. If permissions are wrong on a particular folder then other employees could have access to that information. It's great if your ok with everyone seeing that information; however, what if their account gets compromised by someone outside your organization? They would immediately harvest that information and post it on the Dark Web. Sometimes protection is not bec...ause of lack of trust. Protection is creating isolated silos of data.
