Dear friends, US Troop Support has been officially disbanded because our founder, Linda Relitz, lost her battle with cancer August 15, 2015. Linda was the heart and soul of this organization. We are very sorry that we will no longer be able to send care packages to our troops in combat or assist their families here at home. Thanks to each of you who supported the cause any time since 2003 when US Troop Support was formed. You each hold a special place in our hearts. Thank you, The Faithful Volunteers of USTSF

Today, a young Lee's Summit police officer named Josh Ward received a Henry Tribute Rifle donated by Anthony, owner of Henry Repeating Arms. Josh was sticken with a rare flesh-eating disease several months ago and fought his was back from it. Thanks to our founder, Linda Relitz, who even though she was dealing with cancer herself, was selfless and called Anthony to request the rifle for Josh. That's just what Linda did; she fought for the underdog and had one of the biggest hearts of anyone I know.

Today the volunteers of US Troop Support Foundation pay tribute to our founder, Linda Relitz, who passed from this life this afternoon. Her passion was service to our troops in combat, and she worked tirelessly since 2003 fulfilling the mission of USTSF. Not only did she serve our troops, she helped their families at home through the Adopt A Family program at Christmas. She personally wrapped and delivered the gifts to around 100 families each year. She also helped veterans in need. She had a huge heart, and we will dearly miss her. There's NO ONE on this Earth like Linda; they broke the mold when they made her. Our heartfelt condolences go to her family at this time.
