First frost of the season hitting on the exact halfway mark of October for the second year in a row. But no worries! We'll still have an abundance of produce for you all winter long and thanks to our high tunnels we hope to even have tomatoes for another few weeks. Garlic planted Most of our seeds we purchase rather than save ourselves, so I appreciate the practice of saving and planting our garlic stock all the more each year. The act of reserving back the biggest most beautiful cloves (You know the ones that are an utter joy to cook with) and sacrificing them to be buried in the soil in the hope of an even more glorious, though not promised, return next spring is a parable in and of itself. Farming speaks to the heart.
