Happy 90th birthday to the Ruth Park Golf Course!

Heman Park Pool is open today for open swim from 11:00 a.m. - 7:00 p.m. The baby pool is also open and ready for our youngest swimmers to enjoy. As we celebrate this holiday weekend as the unofficial start of summer and kick off of the pool season, let us not forget the reason behind the holiday and the half staff flag. Let us remember and honor the men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice. #MemorialDay

Because staff will still be in training when we open the pool and Centennial Commons, University City residents will be allowed to swim and have access to Centennial Commons for free, until the training period is over. Additionally, we have changed our safety protocols to be more in line with the changes recently released by St. Louis County. Please refer to the information sheets below. Recreation Releases Membership and Season Pass Pre-Sale Schedule, Facility Hours of Operation and Safety Protocols Centennial Commons will be open Monday, May 24-Thursday, May 27 from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. for the purchasing of Centennial Commons memberships and Heman Park Swimming Pool Season Passes. At this time, admission to Centennial Commons will be limited to Centennial Commons members and admission to the Heman Park Pool will be limited to Centennial Commons members a...nd Heman Park Pool season pass holders. As we transition from being closed for more than a year to operation, we will reevaluate the admission policy. Centennial Commons Recreation Center will reopen to the public on May 28 and Heman Park Pool will reopen on May 29. Exact schedules and activities remain dependent upon guidelines and protocols from the Centers of Disease Control (CDC) and St. Louis County Department of Health.
