University Orthopaedics Kansas City welcomes Dr. Amelia Sorensen! Dr. Sorensen specializes in hand, wrist and microvascular surgery. Her clinical interests include the treatment of traumatic, degenerative and neuromuscular conditions of the wrist and hand, including fracture care, nerve surgery, arthroscopy, joint replacement and microsurgical techniques. Dr. Sorensen joined us in November 2015 after completing her fellowship in orthopaedic hand surgery at the University of California San Diego. She completed her orthopaedic surgery residency at Barnes Jewish Hospital/Washington University. She earned her medical degree from Washington University in St. Louis.
