ICYMI, Oakland University senior Dylan Borczak and Dallas Baptist University freshman Ashley Merrill were named United Soccer Coaches College Players of the Week for their performances last week. Borczak had a hat trick and one assist last week in a 5-0 win and Merrill set a freshman school record in her collegiate debut with a hat trick and one assist in a 6-0 victory. It is with great sadness that we learned of the news that Ray Buss passed away this morning. A 49-year member, Ray was inducted into the NSCAA Hall of Fame in 1997. He was the High School Coach of the Year in 1980 and won the 2005 High School Long-Term Service Award. RIP Ray.

We are saddened to learn of the passing of Tony Waiters. A longtime National Staff Coach, Convention presenter, and the first ever Director of Goalkeeping for the association, he was an exceptional person who gave so much of his time and expertise as a coach educator. He will be missed. RIP.
