Student staff applications are still open! We're seeking both Resident Assistants (RAs) and Desk Managers (DMs), and the application closes on Monday, February 15th. Successful candidates will receive a scholarship covering room and board. Submit your application today!

Interested in changing your meal plan for second semester? Meal plan change requests are due to [email protected] by 5 PM today (Friday, January 22nd)!

Don't leave your RA out in the cold. Talk to them about their next program, whether it be outdoors or virtual. And don't forget about UMKC Office of Student Involvement's Week of Welcome, which continues until February 6th!

Happy Move-in Day Residential Life Roos!! If you aren't aware there is some light snow and lots of wind in the Kansas City area this morning. We are open and ready for you all to move-in if you have an appointment. However, we encourage you to check the weather in your area and locations you would travel through on your way back to UMKC. You can then determine if you would like to make the trip today. If you would prefer to change your arrival to tomorrow please reach out to ...your Residential Life Coordinator to ask for an appointment change (since you can't make changes yourself less than 24 hours in advance). For those who had appointments for today we will accept your test based on a move-in date of today even if you arrive tomorrow. As always, observe your safety protocols!! According to UMKC Information Services: "A network outage has occurred in the Columbia area, affecting multiple services. Faculty/Staff email, sites using Shibboleth authentication, PeopleSoft HR/Finance/Student, and other centrally hosted services are currently unreachable. This is also affecting things like Canvas which use Shibboleth for authentication."
