SENIOR SPOTLIGHT Our last featured senior is @sarahjenkins16 Sarah is from St. Louis, Missouri and is showing her piece TONIGHT in person and via livestream (DM us for the link!) Outside of the conservatory, Sarah has performed and trained with @quixoticfusion , @ipushofficial , and @kinfigure_ dance groups, and has taught choreographed for several local dance studiosSarah is minoring in Business Administration and is studying Social Media Marketing Favorite Memory From UMKC: My favorite memories have been my opportunities to choreograph on my classmates for classes and shows. SENIOR SPOTLIGHT Next senior is @emilyjanerackers Emily is from Jefferson City, Missouri and is premiering her piece TOMORROW in person and via LIVESTREAM (DM for link!) Outside of UMKC dance, Emily is the President of the UMKC Panhellenic Council and is a fitness instructor at UMKC Swinney Recreation Center. Emily also had opportunities to perform at March for Our Lives, as well as in the UMKC Theatre’s performance of The Tempest Favorite Memory From UMKC: There are so many! Current by Kevin Iega Jeff and all the bonding from the long week of rehearsals, any marathon Wednesday when everyone got a little silly, or our comp class’ spontaneous composition! Outside of UMKC, Montanna has had opportunities to perform with @quixoticfusion Favorite Memory from UMKC: Montanna’s favorite memory was working with choreographer Christopher Huggins and performing his piece The List. SENIOR SPOTLIGHT Our featured senior today is @_sydmeyer Sydney is from Union, Missouri and is premiering her piece this Saturday LIVE AND ONLINE! (White Recital Hall 7pm) Sydney has danced in The List by Christopher Huggins in @wylliams_henrydanceco performance Juncture in 2019 Favorite Memory from UMKC: Sydney’s best memory is The ability to train everyday to live music by our accompanists. I am in awe by their talents and the way we collectively can create art. Show Sydney your support!
