The 11 a.m. shuttle for Tuesday, Feb. 16, from Warrensburg to Lee's Summit will run as scheduled. The doors to the James C. Kirkpatrick Library (near the shuttle stop) will open by 10:30 a.m. Be advised the James C. Kirkpatrick Library will not open until noon.

Important update about Monday and Tuesday weather cancellations and delays.

All in-person University of Central Missouri-Lee’s Summit classes will switch to virtual delivery on Saturday, Feb. 13. No shuttle service will be provided on this day. There is no change in Saturday operations for UCM’s Warrensburg campus. The University is continuing to monitor the weather through the National Weather Service, and we will keep you updated if there are changes that may affect future university operations. Your safety is our top priority. We encourage you to continue to monitor UCM's website, as well as the Textcaster message service, UCM social media, your UCM email account, and traditional media for information about closings or updates that impact UCM. If you do not have Textcaster, we encourage you to sign up at ucmo.edu/textcaster.

There’s still time to enroll in UCM’s first course focusing on the emerging technologies of AR and VR, tailored for teachers and corporate instructors. This virtual course, Introduction to Augmented and Virtual Reality, will be March 29 through April 30. The class is designed for pre-kindergarten through 12th-grade teachers, corporate trainers, instructional designers and post-secondary educators. Begin 2021 on a positive note at our Professional Training and Education Open House events, scheduled for this Tuesday Jan. 5 and also Jan. 26. Learn how UCM, partnering with the Full Employment Council, can help you reach your goals through our recognized certificate courses. Some programs can be completed in as little as six weeks.
