Happy Graduation Day! What a day of celebration for these seniors. When we had to move to virtual classrooms and then to HyFlex, they still showed up, did the hard work, and completed their Junior and Senior year in the pandemic. This meant managing their resources and learning in a whole new way. We are very proud of our graduating seniors. The name of the show this year is Perseverance, and for these seniors it couldn’t be more true. This difficult semester, our students had to work more independently and try more persistently to communicate with each other and faculty members. Many, like Grace, were also working part-time or working in an internship. And persevere they did! Come see for yourself. Senior show is at the UCM Gallery of Art and Design now through May 8th. Senior Show is up in the Art Center Gallery. We are so proud of all our seniors for finishing their Thesis Project. These projects are the result of a semester of inquiry, research and planning and then another semester of design development. Each semester graduating seniors have a display in the Art Center Gallery and present their work to visiting practitioners in the format of a business interview.
