Hey UCity - If you’re interested in growing your own food, here’s a program that can help you get started. Growing Together: UCity Schools Food Gardening Network is the result of months of work by dedicated UCHS students (and former BWMS gardeners) in order to build community and fight food insecurity through gardening. The deadline for signing up for our network is Sunday, April 18! Please help us get the word out! Our kick off event is May 1 at BWMS and events will continue until the fall frost.

We want to give thanks for all who have supported UCEF through the years. Your support has allowed us to provide more than $260,000 in grants and support projects to the scholars of University City. On this Giving Tuesday, please help UCEF continue our mission. Consider making a tax-deductible donation to UCEF before year-end. To make an online donation, visit https://ucityeducationfoundation.org/donate/ Thank you!... #UCEF #GivingTuesday #givestlouis

May 11 was supposed to be graduation night for University City High School's Class of 2020 until COVID-19 came on the scene. Thanks to the University City High ...School PTO and the work of school staff, our students were celebrated anyway with a socially-distanced car parade more than 100 cars long. Students parked their cars beforehand on both sides of Balson near the high school to watch the parade that lasted nearly an hour! The parade was led by University City Fire Department trucks and a very tall guy on stilts sporting black and gold. Check out the news coverage below by KMOV. #TogetherUCitySchools #UTime
