Saturday Sermon: The Church of God began on Pentecost 1,990 years ago. How did the Church get from Jerusalem in A.D. 31 to where it is today? This month, as we celebrated the 26th anniversary of the United Church of God, let's look back and survey the history of the Church of God from A.D. 31 to today.... We will look at some of the men who have led the church and some of the major movements that make up our church history. Jesus Christ said the gates of hell would not prevail against his church. We will see that they have not! Join us in Cape Girardeau at 10 a.m. this Sabbath for a sermon titled, "The Gates of Hell Shall Not Prevail"

Nobody can dispute that America has changed a lot over the last few decades. Ideas of right and wrong have changed. Ideas of good and evil have changed. As Christians how should we face these changes? Join us in Cape Girardeau at 10:00 AM as we explore this topic and more by examining the song "America the Beautiful".

On Sunday the United Church of God and many other churches of God throughout the world will observe the biblical feast of weeks...sometimes known as Pentecost. The Lord Jesus Christ, in many places in scripture, tells those who follow him to gather together on that day. For example in the book of Numbers: Numbers 28:26 'Also on the day of the firstfruits, when you bring a new grain offering to the LORD at your Feast of Weeks, you shall have a holy convocation. You shall d...o no customary work. The Lord commands those who follow him to have a holy convocation to observe his feast day. So here in the Western Kentucky and Southeast Missouri areas we will gather together on Sunday, May 16, 2021 to honor the Lord.
