March is Colorectal Cancer Awareness Month! At our surgery center, we pride ourselves in treating each and every patient as if they were family. As your local surgery center, we want to ensure that our extended family is taken care of, which is why we are offering patients in our small town the opportunity to schedule their colonoscopy screenings directly through the surgery center. No doctor’s appointment in the office is necessary before having this procedure. We have two ...GI specialists available to perform colonoscopies 3 days a week. Simply fill out the form below and return it to the surgery center via fax, email or in person and we will take care of the rest! If you are over the age of 50, or are over the age of 40 with a family history of colon cancer, this is the perfect opportunity to get screened! Being a healthcare provider during the COVID-19 Pandemic is something none of us ever imagined. We have been challenged with the unknown each and every day since this pandemic began. At our center, we have strived to always provide our patients with a safe, welcoming and friendly environment. Our top priority is to treat everyone like family. Unfortunately, the restrictions and policies that we have had to put in place for the safety of our patients, staff, surgeons, and f...amilies have interfered with the most important part of our jobs, which is social interaction. We miss that and we know you do too. Interacting with each other gives everyone a sense of security and we will continue to do our very best to provide each patient and their caregivers with the very best care we can, in the safest way we can-for all of us. I received this letter from an anonymous patient today and I couldn’t be more pleased to see that what we are doing is appreciated and that someone was kind enough to share that with us. We would like to congratulate our newest PACU Nurse, Devyn, on passing her RN boards. Since her Pinning Ceremony was cancelled, we thought it would only be appropriate to have a Pinning Ceremony here at the surgery center for her. Congratulations, Devyn!

Due to COVID-19, our facility will be operating under very limited hours over the next several weeks. We will be closed this week today through Friday. We will be open next Monday and next Thursday. If this is an urgent matter, please email Lindsey Murphy, Administrator at [email protected].

In order to keep our patients, staff, and surgeons safe, and do our part in preventing the spread of COVID-19, we will only allow 1 visitor per patient in our facility effective Monday, March 16, 2020. We ask that you leave any school age children in the care of a loved one while you have your procedure done or while you accompany a patient during their procedure. If you are experiencing fever, cough, runny nose, or shortness of breath, we kindly ask that you do not enter our facility and report your symptoms to a doctor. If you are a patient, we will work with you and your surgeon to reschedule your procedure. Our top priority is the safety of all that we care for and those that care for you.
