Check out these gorgeous blue skies we got last week while our operators were working on some overburden stripping in Jefferson City!

No project too big or too small-That’s always been our motto at Twehous Excavating. One of our blasting superintendents sent this picture in from a new project and we couldn’t help but be in awe. Just look at how tiny that huge drill is in comparison to the site!! Pictures like this one really make us appreciate the hard work and dedication our crews put in to get the big projects done!

Check out this flashback from March of 1974, where Twehous Excavating was contracted to do some deep sand plowing. In these photos you can see the plow that was used for this process. This plow requires TWO bulldozers to pull it! When river flooding occurs on farmland, a lot of sand is left behind. This plow turns the dirt and sand so that the good soil for planting is back on the surface!

This project in Jefferson City is moving right along! Our crews have been working diligently to keep on schedule and it’s great to see the progress that’s being made!

We’ve been sharing updates on this project for a couple of weeks and it looks like we’re almost done! Our concrete crews have worked tirelessly to get this job done, despite the crazy weather we’ve had the last few weeks.

Here’s something you don’t see every day! Take a look at these pictures of the beginning stages of the Ridgecrest subdivision, off of Stadium Boulevard in Jefferson City. Our crews are working on pouring concrete for the streets that will run through this new development. Commercial lots are available now!
