This is the third time I will fully go over this frame sanding it. First time to strip all the paint. Second time I fill any micro defects with spot putty and sand. Third time is after I've sprayed a clear sealer. I am sanding this down to a perfectly smooth surface and then I'll do one more layer of sealer before base. All of these steps add up in time, but they also add up to a superior paint job. This is not something they will do when your bike comes from the factory. The...y couldn't afford to paint like this.
