Today we celebrate Jesus's rise from grave. We celebrate that He died so that we can be free. Free from all sin; free from the impact of those that sin against us. April is Sexual Assault Awareness Month. It is a blessing to acknowledge the freedom from Jesus as we bring awareness that there is the experience of sexual trauma that holds many in bondage. God is so loving of all of his children that he offered Jesus as a living sacrifice for healing. Those that have chose...n healing, here is our hand, extended to you as you courageously begin to walk your journeys. Those that aren't quite ready, know that that same hand is there when you are. Yet, Those that have grabbed ahold, I celebrate you. With every step you've taken, We praise God for his healing power in you and your willingness to bravely walk. We walk with you.. This month, I will share stories (no identifying info) of amazing people on various legs of their healing journeys from sexual violence. Hi Everyone, It's been awhile. This is the last day of Women's History Month. I celebrate all amazing women. Today I celebrate every woman and their journeys. You are amazing. You are so brilliant. You are trailblazers. You are trendsetters. You are more than enough. You are lifechangers. From birth to death, you impact the world in the direction of good. I am so blessed to be one of you. Together we are unstoppable. Now, Go Be Great(er).

Reflection: Trusting Hearts is a dream from God. I didn't dream this when I was a child. I evolved into this dream as it's been given to me by my Creator. Some of you reading this watch as others seem to be living out their dreams as it seems your dream is nonexistent or not materializing. I want to let you know that you are right where you need to be as God orchestrates His plan for your life. Your mind may be telling you something different that your heart and soul. ...Walk with your heart and soul as that is where the Lord resides. He speaks to us all there. Your purpose is just ahead of you. Keep walking. Your resources are plentiful. Keep asking. Your best self is now and your bestest self is within reach. Keep learning and evolving. This month I watched a brown-skinned girl (healed from a speech impediment) recite words placed in her spirit by the Spirit. I watched a light-skinned woman stand before God and His people as the second most powerful person in the world. I watched as a dark-skinned woman continue to powerfully serve her constituents just as she promised and a brown-skinned gentleman go against an angry mob of white supremists as he protected our lawmakers. I also saw white people seek justice against their law-breaking family members with white supremist beliefs and BLACK LIVES MATTER is nominated for the nobel peace prize. Dreams do come true; even when it looks different from how you dreamt it. Your life matters and He is not finished with you yet. Keep on keeping on. #trustinghearts See more
