Hosei can you see? Celeste can hardly believe finals are over! Hopefully we will all be traveling around the world safely again, just like Celeste did in Japan!
May Day! May Day! This is not a drill.... In many European countries, the first of May is celebrated with song, dance, and plenty of food!
We are finally less than a month away from the end of the semester, and hopefully we our Seoul is feelin' fine!
There's no fooling us... We can unleash our inner Elsa in China! Check out Stephanie at the traditional Ice Festival. The celebration dates back to 1985, with a full theme park that's over 4,000 square feet!
Katie Olson took this beautiful picture while in India. Today, South Asia celebrates Holi! Holi, the festival of color, is one of India's oldest (and most vivid!) traditions. Poems and stories date back to the 4th Century. This festival is to celebrate the beginning of Spring and the triumph of good over evil. Each colors have a different significance: Red means love and fertility, while green symbolizes new beginnings. As the festival can be a great unification of people, it is still crucial to recognize the cultural and religious significance of such a celebration. Celebrate at home by reading some poems found here: https://www.holifestival.org/holi-poems.html
Spring Break or Spring Broken? Who's to say... Hopefully everyone can take a breath and find their footing during our time off. We've earned it!
