We’re so proud of this Bulldog educator! Congratulations to MAE alumna,Jessica Boyer, for being recognized as the Marva Collins Beginning Teacher of the Year. Boyer (‘19, ‘20) is a first year physical education teacher in the Aledo Independent School District in Aledo, Texas.

Congratulations, Ross, for being selected as a Fulbright recipient! This will be a wonderful experience to share with your future students. Way to go!

Dr. Summer Pennell, Assistant Professor of English Education, was recently recognized as a recipient of the Divergent Award for Excellence in Literacy Advocacy recognizing individuals using digital spaces to advocate for literacy, students and equity in all facets of academia, given by the Initiative for Literacy in a Digital Age.
