It's that time of year again! The little flying jewels have arrived. Please refer to nectar card for proper feeding and feeder maintenance. To deter ants from getting into your feeders, please use only ant moats filled with water above your feeders.

I read a lot of FB posts about people trying to find a way to politely communicate with their neighbors that the use chemicals on their lawn is a terrible thing... for nature. This is the time of year when there is not a lot to do in the garden. I still walk my garden every couple of days, making observations and noting things I need... to add to my to do list for when we get a warm day or two each week.
