10 mile hike? No problem! Congratulations to this group of scouts on their achievement! Special thank you to Eric and Erica for making it possible. Two falls, one band-aid, one snake, all smiles!
June 6, 2021 The scouts went on a 5 mile hike at Bluffview park! They killed it! Love the before and after pictures!
Great picture of Kari, Ryli, Lillian and Lillian’s brother Jacob!
So proud of our scouts and being asked to participate in this ceremony. Well done!
Memorial Day Good Turn The troop was honored to be able to participate in the Memorial Day flag placement at Jefferson Barracks.
Our troop has been virtual since November but that has not stopped these scouts. Our motto, "moving forward even when we cannot be together!" And move forward they have! In addition to rank advancement items and Merit Badges they also have had one virtual campout/month. I am attaching the agendas for those two events because they are fun, action packed and had opportunities for the scouts to teach the others using the EDGE method. So proud of these scouts and thankful for our committee and scout families that make all of it possible!
Troop 165 is super excited to congratulate Katherine on this outstanding achievement! She is blazing a trail for all female scouts!
Even BP wants in on this amazing event. We found him wandering Camp Warren Levis and asked him to register, will you be joining him? https://scoutingevent.com/312-2021universityofscouting
Scouts BSA Troop 165 was awarded the Archbishop's Unit Honor Award at the St. Louis Cathedral on Sunday Feb. 2, 2020. The troop was selected from troops Council-wide for their hours of service, dedication to spiritual growth. training, leadership and activities.
Troop 165 along with Scout family members put flags on the graves at Jefferson Barracks cemetery in honor of Memorial Day. Eagle Scout Josh Kuehnle was a part of the flag honor guard for the opening ceremony.
Girls of Troop 165 enjoyed their first troop outdoor activity - a day at Camp Richwoods. The Scouts explored the camp, learned how to sharpen their pocket knives, completed knife safety training, hiked 1+ miles while using a map and compass and had a great day enjoying nature!
