Tri-Lakes RV 17.11.2020

Just a small personal post, I grew up working in a small shop with my father, and working with my mother in a bakery from age 6, bakery before school, dads shop after school, all I have ever known is work and provide for my family and help as many people you can along the way, with that mentality you rarely get to make much of a living, When deciding to start a small mobile RV wash and maintenance business around Stockton, Truman, and Pomme de terre lake, I knew I would have ...fun, meeting people of all ages just relaxing and partying at the lake and I would be able to help them spend time relaxing and enjoying their families by taking away what would be considered another job at the (lake house) so to speak, and WOW, I’ve been blessed with many customers, that have become great friends, and it seems, I’ve even been adopted and considered family by many. I want to Thank every one of our RV friends & Family that has helped TRI-LAKES RV, become the Local Family owned business it will always continue to be, and serve our ever growing RV SERVICE, and SALES family. With that said we have seen many plans of retirement succeed and fail. Many obstacles in life never stop popping up, and it’s awesome to be able to help remove the obstacles, then later on we are able to hear about the trip, the mountains, the wild life and it’s almost like we have visited the same area.. I’m so sorry the long post, so here is my final comment, To be able to be involved in such a major part of so many individuals free time, family time , vacation time, and helping guide and make decisions on retirement plans and the style of RV that is going to fit not only the budget, but make every moment of their journey the most memorable without a lot of headaches. And no regrets. I just ask many simple questions, little do you know it paints a beautiful picture for me to understand how to help you start your journey, and It’s the thing I love the most about what we do, and for me it’s why I look forward to my business everyday. Someday has finally Arrived I’m truly happy that your enjoying life Steve!!! And thank you for allowing myself and my crew to be a part of your Someday..

Yes it’s that time again it’s time to put your camper away for the winter so whenever you winterize it, go ahead and inspect your window seals window caulking and most importantly roof sealant front rear seams, antennas, air ventilation, vents, plumbing vents, refrigerator vents, any hole it’s on the roof of your camper. If your caulking looks like the first Set of pictures it’s in to the first stages of water getting into your roof decking then your ceiling then you’re maki...ng an appointment for insurance to cover damage, only to be turned down because of lack of maintenance, and NO!! There’s no brush on roll-on spray on magic potion or elixir to go over the old existing caulking to make it not leak!! It takes good old fashion elbow grease and time you add a putty knife, And fingers and hands that will cramp up eventually but the silver lining after all removed with a new sealant applied to all those areas if your camper stored outside in the elements usually 5 to 7 years of use before this maintenance is needed again, if stored under cover up to 12 years. If you inspect and see this happening to your caulking on your roof or if you’re not sure about your windows and outer trim on the sides swing it past Tri-Lakes RV, Will gladly inspect it if needed give you an estimate and go over a custom maintenance program for your RV that will fit your budget. 417-326-2448 See more

Campfire Chicken Foil Dinner Ingredients 4 large pieces of heavy duty or double-thick aluminum foil oil... 4 small potatoes chopped 1 small onion chopped 2 ears corn cut in half (frozen cobs are okay) butter melted basic spice rub or spices of choice 4 boneless skinless chicken thighs if using breasts, pound the thickest parts flat Instructions To Assemble: Lay out the pieces of foil and oil the centers of each. In the center of each piece of foil pile the potatoes and onions. Brush corn cobs with melted butter and place next to the potatoes. Sprinkle everything with your basic spice rub (or spices). Lay the chicken atop the potatoes and onions and sprinkle with more spice rub. Seal the edges all nice and tight, but leave a little room for steam. If taking camping, put the pouches in ziplock baggies in case of leakage (which did happen). Cook right away or freeze to take camping (use in the first 1-2 days). To Cook: Cook thawed packets 5 inches from the fire/coals, 15 minutes on one side and 15 minutes on the other. If they are closer because of stationary grate at the campsites, just turn them a little more often and move them to avoid hot spots. In this case, they might cook closer to the 20 minute mark, so you'll have to be checking after 15 minutes. Notes *It's okay if the packets are still partially frozen when you cook them as they seemed to cook the same amount of time over the hot campsite fire. Make Ahead Tip: You can make the packets a few hours or days ahead, whatever works for your schedule. You can even freeze them in advance and cook partially thawed at the campsite, like mentioned
