PARENTS OF STUDENTS IN 6TH TO 8TH GRADE SHOULD SIGN UP! We will be providing after school services and youth group for students in 6th to 8th grade. We will have a time where students will be able to work on school work, play games, and grow closer in their community. * Students should be dropped off by 4:30PM... * If parents are members of the church and a student has a sibling in senior high they can choose to attend the senior high program with their sibling. Hey church family! This is George, the Youth Pastor! I want to be vulnerable and share why I have loved serving TLCC. My family and I have been a part of TLCC since July. I can honestly say that there are very few churches I have attended where I feel genuinely accepted and loved for who I am! I don't have to wear certain types of clothes, talk a certain way, listen to certain music, or have "it all together". I can be who I am today and I don't have to worry about being who ...others want me to be. No dogma. No chains. No hyper-traditionalism. The culture here at TLCC is one rooted in LOVE. It's definitely tangible and something that can truly be experienced through this church family. I wouldn't want to look for another church to call home. You all are it! I want to challenge you to step outside your comfort zone: Share this post and write what is it that you love about TLCC! Be real! You should tell a story!

Luke 1:26-38; Matthew 1:18-20, 2:13-14; Luke 9:23 Name a few of the ways Christmas today is different from the very first Christmas, when Jesus was born. What were some of the uncomfortable things God asked Mary and Joseph to do to prepare for the first Christmas? Why do you think God allowed the first Christmas to be so uncomfortable for Mary, Joseph, and Jesus? Do you think following God is always going to be uncomfortable? Why or why not? Read Luke 9:23. What are some of the ways we can apply this verse specifically during the Christmas holidays? This Christmas, what’s one way you plan to give up your comfort for God, and what do you hope to achieve? How do you think God might be calling you to give up your comfort even after Christmas is over?
