This special virtual broadcast will air LIVE across the globe on Friday, May 21st at 5:30 pm EDT. The opening segment of the virtual broadcast will include live and pre-taped interviews with Korean War Veterans, dignitary welcome messages, and a short history of the Memorial and the Wall of Remembrance. At 6:30 pm EDT, South Korea President Moon and other dignitaries will honor the all of the Veterans that served in the Korean War and those who made the ultimate sacrifice during the groundbreaking ceremony. ****PLEASE SHARE THIS POST. Pearl Harbor Remembrance Day is observed annually in the United States on December 7, to remember and honor the 2,403 United States citizens who were killed in the Japanese surprise attack on Pearl Harbor in Hawaii on December 7, 1941, which led to the United States declaring war on Japan the next day and thus entering World War II.

Wreaths Across America update from Andrea Romaker- Hey everyone the Wreaths will be here in Warrenton December 14th at 10am!!! We will unload the 18 wheeler at the Holy Rosary Knights of Columbus Hall!!! If you can lend a hand that would great! It should only take a few minutes!! It’s almost Go time!!! Thanks to everyone this year raising money and collecting donations and to those who donated!!! Every Veteran at the City of Warrenton and at the Holy Rosary Cemetery, will... be Honored again this year!!!! WAA hasn’t updated the City of Warrenton online page yet, but rest assured we made our goal! Holy Rosary’s page has been updated!! On December 19th, we will need volunteers to meet at the Knights hall, at 9:45 am to load the boxes onto some trucks to take the Wreaths to both of the cemeteries. All other volunteers that would like to lay the wreaths, should be at the Cemetery you want to help out at, by 10:45am. Please remember to wear your mask and keep your distance and dress Warm!!! At the City of Warrenton Cemetery, Mike O’Brien and Susan Ehlenbec will be leading you all and giving instructions. Barb Woodruff will read a short speech followed by the Gun Salute & TAPS. At the Holy Rosary Cemetery, Tom Hart will read a speech followed by the Gun Salute and the playing of TAPS. Remember Rain, Snow, or Sleet, we will still meet at the same time. This is a National event across the Nation at the same time!! Our Veterans Names will be said Out Loud!!! We Did It!!! See more
