Happy Father's Day to all the dads out there! Tell me one thing you will never forget about your dad or something he has done. Mine is the day that he assisted and was towing the Branson Belle when it had lost all power. My dad, Steve Fennema built this work/tow boat to service their house boats and we all named it Ugly Boat. I learned everything I know about boats from my dad. Thank dad!

What a long day yesterday was. Our Captains worked several calls yesterday and some very long hours. Here is Captain Travis helping a member back to Port of Kimberling.

With a busy day today I was able to stop out in the middle of the lake and sit for a bit and relax. Then I had a boat pull up next to me and was just wanting to make sure I was ok, and to tell you the truth it felt really good that they were concerned about me. Just never know were we will be going sometimes. Went down to Little Rock Arkansas to tow a boat on the Arkansas River that Fitzco Marine Group brought up off the bottom. We got to tow next to some huge barges, go up and down through a lock and dam. Actually got to use and follow navigational markers. And take the boat to what looked like we were in the Amazon river. Towed this Carver from Long Creek Marina to Shell Knob. The water was calm and turned into glass after I rounded Indian Point. The sunset was spectacular and it was changing by the minute.

This mornings tow is going from Port of Kimberling to Indian Point. As I came around Point 7 there were 5 Bald Eagles 4 in the tree and one in flight. Then if you look at the trees you can see the water line stain from when the lake was high.

Taking this house boat from Shell Knob to Cricket Creek Marina. The lake is like glass this morning and have already saw a bunch of Bald Eagles. The water temp is 44.2 degrees.

No better way to say I Love You than to get your spouse a $60 membership for Christmas. It proves you want them back home safe and sound.

We have been called out to do several boat recoveries. With the rains we have had, be sure to check your deck drains that they are not clogged. The cold weather can make your boat lifts go down like a car tire does. People are not on the docks like they are in the in spring and summer, so a slowly sinking boat may not be seen. No matter what the weather is we go out. We have had a lot of steady rain so if your boat is known to hold water I would have it checked. We received this call after the customer could not raise the boat the rest of the way.

Headed up to Eagle Rock to go get a member and tow them back to Campbell Point. This time of year there are few boats out to help. WE ARE NEVER CLOSED.

Hit the water at 5:30 AM this morning to help out with the 2020 Ultimate Challenge Tournament. Had a great first day and looking forward to tomorrow. There is no better way to start the day than having a Prayer and hearing the National Anthem.

This is the sight and sound of this evening. Close your eyes and you can imagine being anywhere on the lake.

Today we took off our Red shirts and put on the Orange Cops for Kids shirts. It was a blast to help out such a awesome event. I am very proud of our Captains and blessed to have them. Looking forward to next year's Cops for Kids Bass Tournament.

We had a fun time yesterday picking up trash in Big Cow. It is very satisfying seeing the before and after. Water bottles, hats, and styrofoam were the most found items. We look forward to this event every year and can't thank everyone enough that is involved. Can't say the season is over yet. Went from cutting rope out of a prop, to a boat taking on water and helping a pup get his pontoon back home.

We love helping any way we can. This is a great opportunity to show support for our cops and young kids. This tournament has always been a lot of fun.

ADOPT- AN - ISLAND was a huge success. This was only one of many islands we have on our lake. The people that came out and helped pick up trash and get it hauled off are absolutely amazing, we had a blast made new friends and I got to take my boys on there first camping trip. We slept in the tow boat well at least the boys did, dad slept on the roof.lol.

This is home so let's do our part.
