Did you know?! As everyone around the nation is trying to do everything they can to protect employees still working and children still going to school, we thought we should share some Covid-19 Facts! When using Lysol (disinfectant Spray); To sanitize: Surfaces must remain wet for 10 seconds then allow to air dry.... To disinfect: Surfaces must remain wet for 3 minutes then allow to air dry. Never try to wipe with a cloth, until the surface has air dried. If you try to wipe before this you are risking that the virus has yet to be killed and cross contaminating said surfaces. When sanitizing or disinfecting these common touch areas we also need to be mindful of the products we are using. Not all products labeled sanitizer or disinfectants actually are proven to kill this virus that many of our populations have fell ill to. So be sure to do your research on whatever chemical you are using. Here are some things to look for; 1. be sure it is proven to kill the Covid-19 Virus as well as any mutated Covid-19 strains. 2. Always check the instructions for different air dry times as some chemicals may have anywhere up to a 5 minute mark in being effective to kill the Covid-19 Virus. 3. Make sure you are also Cleaning these areas being disinfected or sanitized regularly before you re-sanitize. Hot Water and soap also play a big role in the sanitation department before sanitizing or disinfecting!
