Loaded up and ready to get the week started....

Day 3 on our patio project. We have all of the old patio removed, drains installed, minus screeded, tamped and ready for pavers. We also got our stairs built and ready for caps. All of our material is being delivered Monday morning. We can't wait to start laying these pavers.

Had to repair a soft spot in the soil on our patio job today. This was caused by the previous concrete having cracks and allowing water to get under the patio. It basically makes it feel like your walking on a water bed. To fix this we had to dig down about 18" to get to solid ground then we filled in with 1" minus and tamped it ever 4". Took almost 8 tons just to fill in the hole.

Pretty excited about this project. We're Going to be installing a new paver patio with a fireplace, a small staircase and walkway around to the driveway.
